Competition and recreation team coach

Glacier Nordic Club in Whitefish, Montana is hiring a Head Coach for its Glacier Nordic Ski Team competition and recreation team for U16 & U18’s.   Glacier Nordic has a 35-year history of youth programing and grooming in our community. Our mission is to promote and inspire a love of cross-country skiing.  We have a robust infrastructure with over 200 youth in our programs, as well as a growing masters clinic program and groom courses both in town and at the local ski mountain (15 minutes from town).  We compete in the Intermountain Division of USSA. 

The head coach is responsible for overseeing the competition and recreation team, providing leadership, organization and guidance.  The coach plans and implements training plans and learning objectives in accordance with USSA guidelines and the Glacier Nordic Club mission.  The job is a part-time salaried position from October 15 through March 15 with potential for hourly work mid-June to mid-August.  Please visit Comp/Rec Team Head Coach for a complete job description and information on applying.

Executive Director

TVSEF was founded in 1988 by local ski racers Dana & Deb Mackenzie and the Melehes brothers. Their objective still stands today in TVSEF’s mission and vision to provide a lifelong love of snow sports. TVSEF programs include over 200 athletes in Alpine, Freeride, Snowboarding, Nordic, and summer mountain biking. The teams have contributed to the development of regionally and nationally ranked athletes and ski professionals, including pro-skier Sage Cattabriga-Alosa and Olympian Jaelin Kauf.

TVSEF is looking to hire an Executive Director to have the opportunity to collaborate with the Teton Valley community and Grand Targhee ski and bike resort in further realizing TVSEF’s mission and vision to provide affordable snow sports programs for young athletes to meet their individual potential for excellence through education and opportunity for competition.
